I recommend Engelking's book on Dimension Theory, it covers the same topics as Wallman's but contains various new results. The last edition is from 1995 and it still can be ordered through Heldermann Verlag. Go here to see this and many others. I highly recommend those books, they have always arrived fast when I have ordered.

Comment on 182 E. Cartan, Oeuvres Completes, 5 volumes
Hi,
Elie Cartan Oeuvres complètes has 3 volumes (the last volume on Differential Geometry is in 2 parts).
So it's 4 books that where published by Springer. I was lucky enough 20 years ago to get a second hand copy of the 4 books.

Felipe,
thank you for your feedback, glad to hear that you like it. After some tests and modifications, the pages should work now also for Safari and Konqueror.

Hi!
I have noticed that with Safari (Apple's browser) your page does not shows the posting list. However with the same computer but using Firefox it displays correctly.
Great blog and looking forward to get some of these books back in print!

A very good book indeed. It contains the main results on nonlinear Cauchy problem in Banach spaces.Unfortunately very hard to get it>It should be reprinted.

Comment on 142 Galois cohomology of algebraic number fields; ...
Any reprint should note the error: Haberland implicitly assumes that for any finite set of primes S of a number field K and prime number p, there exist extensions of K unramified outside S divisible by arbitrarily high powers of p. This is not known (and may not even be true).
